Texas A&M Email (Neo) Mobile

Introduction

Texas A&M Email (Neo) Mobile allows users to access their Texas A&M Email (Neo), calendar, contacts, and other online services on the go. This synchronization program transfers data to users' personal smartphone or PDA.

 

What is Required?

A mobile device needs to run one of these operating systems to use Texas A&M Email (Neo) Mobile:

  • Blackberry
  • iPhone OS/iTouch/iPad
  • Palm OS/WebOS
  • Windows Mobile 5/6/6.5/2003/7
  • Android 2.0 and higher

 

The mobile device must also have some version of the ActiveSync software installed. ActiveSync is a program that allows devices such as smartphones to syncronize email, calendars, and contacts with servers and your computer.

Note when changing your NetID password: When using ActiveSync (data sync) to push Texas A&M Email (Neo) to your mobile device, you must turn off the sync feature before changing your NetID password. If sync is not turned off, mobile devices will continue using the old password, triggering the account to lock. Once you change your password, update the password on your mobile device, and then turn sync back on.
