Texas A&M Email (Neo) Mobile for Android 2.0
Document ID 943
Indroduction
These instructions apply to mobile phones running Android OS 2.0 or greater and have already been set up to use mobile email. They describe how to add an email account which will allow synchronization of email, contacts, and calendars with Texas A&M Email (Neo).
Note: Due to an issue with Android, email that is greater than 512k in size will be truncated and not fully downloaded to the Android phone. The email message can still be viewed online at https://email.tamu.edu. Sending email will function properly. To receive complete messages on your Android 2.0 phone, you may wish to set up a second account using IMAP. Instructions for setting up an IMAP email account are posted below.
Due to the physical differences of mobile phones that run the Android software, even the same version, these instructions may not appear exactly as they would on your Android phone. If you have trouble progressing through these instructions and require assistance, please call Help Desk Central at 979-845-8300, and we will help guide you through setting up your particular Android phone.
